How Does Religion Effect Modern Romantic Interpersonal Relationships? FOR KIM WOODS ONLY
Topic: How Does Religion Effect Modern Romantic Interpersonal Relationships?
NOTE: THIS TOPIC MUST BE RESEARCHED THROUGH INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION, CONFLICT THEORY.
Conflict theory
Many interpersonal communication scholars have sought to define and understand interpersonal conflict. As a result, there are numerous definitions of conflict available. Although these varying perspectives highlight something unique about interpersonal conflict, they also cause some confusion. This has resulted in difficulty in establishing uniform methods of operationalization for those who use social scientific (quantitative) methods of analysis. This means that it is difficult to generalize findings across studies.
According to Barcki and Harwick (2004), who consolidated several definitions across the discipline, conflict can be defined as “a dynamic process that occurs between interdependent parties as they experience negative emotional reactions to perceived disagreements and interference with the attainment of their goals” (p. 234). With this definition, conflict has three properties:
1 disagreement
2 negative emotion
3 interference
The disagreement property demonstrates the element of perception in conflict. The negative emotion component demonstrates the affect characteristic. The behavioral element demonstrates the interference characteristic of conflict. Within this definition, conflict can be focused on task or relational issues. Task issues involve events, plans, behaviors, etc. Relational conflict involves dispute over personal issues, attitudes, values, beliefs, behaviors, relationship status, etc.

MAXIMUM 15 SOURCES.
THIS IS A QUALITATIVE RESEARCH, QUALITATIVE RESEACH METHOD’S GUIDELINE MUST BE FOLLOWED.
Minimum 15 sources
Paper should include:
1.Abstract: Summing up the contents of the paper (1 page)
2.Table of Content (1 page)
3.Introduction discussing your topic or your site (usually the artifact that you will critically analyze), and a preview of the rest of your paper and a brief mention of your conclusions (2 pages)
4. _Literature Review: A literature review surveys books, scholarly articles, and any other sources relevant to a particular issue, area of research, or theory, and by so doing, provides a description, summary, and critical evaluation of these works in relation to the research problem being investigated. Literature reviews are designed to provide an overview of sources you have explored while researching a particular topic and to demonstrate to your readers how your research fits within a larger field of study [From USC Libraries Research Guides]. THE Literatures must be reviewed in a thematic order and or chronological, in addition, at the end of this section, the main research question must be presented (10 pages) http://libguides.usc.edu/writingguide
5. _Methodology: The methods section describes the rationale for the application of specific procedures or techniques used to identify, select, and analyze information applied to understanding the research problem, thereby, allowing the reader to critically evaluate a study’s overall validity and reliability. The methodology section of a research paper answers two main questions: How was the data collected or generated? And, how was it analyzed? The writing should be direct and precise and always written in the past tense [From USC Libraries Research Guides]. (2 pages) http://libguides.usc.edu/writingguide
6. _Analysis: There should be a section including an analysis of your own ideas/findings. This is the most comprehensive section of your paper, where you present your own ideas and findings. In this section be sure to include a section on the selected theme .This section must also contain auto ethnographic passages and analysis of your topic as a wicked problem (6 pages)
7. _Conclusion: Similar to your Introduction. Emphasis is on what you did in the paper and lessons you draw from your research. (2 pages)
