Organization

·         The tone is appropriate to the content and assignment. Points are supported with credible facts and evidence.

·         The introduction provides a sufficient background on the topic and previews major points, and includes an appropriate Points Listed thesis statement.

·         Transitions – are present both between paragraphs, AND between sentences. Transitions insertedare logical, and maintain the flow of the paper.

·         The conclusion is logical, flows from the body of the paper, and reviews the major points.

Mechanics

·         The essay adheres to APA formatting, to include:
1. A Title Page
2. A References Page

·         3. in-text citations in your Body Paragraphs. 

·         Rules of spelling, grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed.
